A striking piece of North American wildlife, this listing is for one genuine coyote paws from the species Canis latrans,  the highly adaptable wild canine also historically known as the prairie wolf.
Despite the more dramatic name, a prairie wolf is a coyote, not a true wolf. Coyotes are intelligent, resilient predators known for their haunting calls, adaptability and ability to survive across an enormous range of wild landscapes.
Each one is fresh tanned as of Summer 2026, giving them a durable finish while keeping the natural character of the fur intact. This makes them well suited to craft projects, taxidermy mounting, displays, oddity collections or simply as a beautiful natural history specimen.
Our coyotes are sourced through pest control rather than being killed specifically for the taxidermy trade. By preserving and making use of these animals, material that may otherwise have been discarded can instead be given a second life, something that sits at the heart of Second Life Taxidermy.
Every prairie wolf paw is naturally individual, with variations in size, fur colour, markings and shape.
