North American Raccoon Pelt
Procyon lotor
Beautiful North American raccoon pelts, with thick, soft fur and the distinctive natural colouring raccoons are known for. Their mixture of grey, brown, cream and darker tones gives each pelt its own character, along with the classic banded tail.
These are recently tanned pelts, so they are soft, supple and durable. No old, musty antique skins here.
These are genuine wild raccoons, sourced as a by-product of pest control, giving otherwise discarded animals a second life.
There are two individual raccoon pelts available, both shown in the photographs. Orders will be selected at random from the remaining stock.
If you have a particular favourite, please fill out our contact form or send us a DM through our social media before ordering. If both pelts are still available, we will be happy to let you choose the individual you prefer.
As with all wild and natural specimens, there may be small imperfections, variations and signs of the animal’s life in the wild. Each pelt is completely unique, so markings, colour and fur will vary slightly between the two.
